The reason you see "Index of /yourusername" is because you do not have your homepage named "index.html" or "index.htm". You must name your homepage "index.html" to see your website up. Some servers use "default.htm" or "home.htm", but that will not work on our server. Just publish your index.htm and it will replace what you get on your screen.

Billing is handled on a yearly subscription. You may pay by credit card or check through a secure server. Our Merchant is PayPal. When your time for renewal comes, you will automatically be notified. You do not have to belong to PayPal to pay for our services, however, you should consider becoming a member yourself as PayPal offers outstanding features that would benefit you in many ways.

We don't accept checks, bank checks or money orders by mail. Our "merchant" checks out who you are and we rely on that info since we don't allow hosting service to a minor.

Yes, for a one time $30.00 setup fee (no monthly fee) we can point a second domain name to your main web page. This is a great way to expand the marketing of your site. This involves your registered new domain name to be setup on our servers. The DNS must point to our servers. We set it up. Since you will be using it as a "Redirect", you go to your control panel and hit the Redirect button to point to the existing domain you want it to redirect to. When you REDIRECT, though you see features on your control panel, you won't be using it as it is redirected. Therefore, you won't be using SPACE and you will not be charged a monthly fee.

Your domain.com (your website) can have numerous ftp accounts for free if it's included in your package Plan. Each ftp account you setup in your control panel will have it's own login. Remember to post this login in your ftp accounts with an ftp service. EayOK is not an ftp service. WS_FTP and CuteFTP are.

With the ftp account utility you can control ftp accounts for your users, or if your account has subdomain support you can add an ftp login for the subdomain.

Here you can change setting on how anonymous ftp users should be treated, and change the anonymous upload policy as well.

Anonymous FTP Message
You can edit the anonymous ftp welcome message that users will see when they login to your ftp site.

FTP://Session Control
This utility allows you to disconnect users or timed out ftp sessions.

The first thing to remember is that you must register a domain name. It takes up to 48 hours before it is displayed throughout the web. Check this after the first 12 hours by going to WHOIS | VeriSign or until your domain is displayed. It will have all the DNS info on it.

If you order an account, and the domain name you signed up with has been either registered by someone else or needs to be changed due to any reason, we will have to delete that account from our servers and setup a new account. You will be charged a setup fee as this involves our time. To be safe from another setup fee, make sure that the domain is yours first.

Yes you can switch yourdomain.com for newdomain.com, but this requires us to re create your account under the newdomain.com which is a new setup charge a $50 to re-setup for this process. It involves deleting existing account and setting up the new one. Your yearly subscription is already paid by you.

Most subscribers won't have to worry about this as we offer generous bandwidth. When you go over your bandwidth limit you receive a notice letting you know you have gone over. We charge $5 per extra Gigabyte of bandwidth, that is 1024MB of data transfer. We do not limit the amount you can have, although we do charge for the extra bandwidth usages.
